CUSTOMISATIONS:
The DLT (Deep Lower Thoracic) padded backrest, custom designed by Motion Wheelchairs, provides firm support while allowing carer access for washing.
The seat cushion is stepped forward on the left side to accommodate the client’s pelvic rotation and ensure full thigh support on both sides. The aperture has been custom-shaped to support the ischial tuberosities.
On either side of the cushion are an angle-adjustable left hip support and a right adductor support, designed to help carers maintain proper pelvic alignment.
The foot and leg rest area is boxed in with padded sections to secure the feet and lower limbs—ideal for clients with chorea, spasms, or uncontrolled movement.
Great care is taken to ensure the client can be positioned correctly over the toilet, with all adjustments tailored to achieve safe and accurate alignment.
